1. "My English" LB p. 117-120 Summary Sentences (continue in notebook)
   • Read aloud p. 118-120 as a whole class, stopping to discuss and check for understanding as needed.
   • Stop after each paragraph to write one summary sentence, using one of the enclosed sentence frames (which students also have copied in their notebooks). Have one or two volunteers share their summary sentences aloud to check for understanding before moving on to the next paragraph.
